Start-up Master Classes

Our brand new Start-up Master Classes deep dive into elements of the start-up journey that every founder needs to know about. This is a unique opportunity to develop, ask questions, and interact with fellow founders and entrepreneurial speakers. All sessions are free with pizza provided. Register for one, two, or all four sessions – it’s up to you!

Summer Lab

Summer Lab is the University of Auckland’s international award-winning 4-week intensive entrepreneurship programme. Learn about global challenges and come up with a venture idea to make the world a better place. Your participation can be formally recognised through the co-curricular recognition programme and could also earn you a University of Auckland Distinguished Graduate Award. Open to all current students and staff of UoA. Places are limited. Learn more

Equipment Practice Sessions

Once you have finished your equipment preparation module on Canvas, complete equipment training by signing up to a 30 minute in-person practice session.

The purpose of this session is to ensure that you have a practical understanding of how to use the equipment. Our Maker Space Coordinator will teach you how to operate the equipment and answer any questions you may have.

Unleash Space workshops are a fun way to gain confidence using new-to-you technology. Join one of our free workshops to learn under the guidance of our student Creative Technologists, and take home your project or a new skill.
