A dedicated co-working space, Start-up Studio is actively used by a group of entrepreneurs and start-ups using Unleash Space as their home and place of work in 2021.
Who is it designed for?
Start-up Studio is open to students and staff members who are actively working on building a start-up. With a capacity to support 20 ventures, Unleash Space is a buzzing co-working space.
Mentoring and resources
Start-up Studio is a community of entrepreneurs and start-ups using Unleash Space as their home and place of work. In addition to a buzzing co-working space, members receive mentoring, professional development and networking opportunities, and more. Coming from a science background, Modular Realms founder Annabelle found opportunities to learn from industry professionals most valuable. She says, “I’ve had so many fantastic experiences through Start-Up Studio, but the best for me have been access to a number of mentors in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. It was from speaking to different experts and awesome people that I learned things like how to approach manufacturers, how to build a marketing strategy, and got advice on IP. All the things I’d never been taught I could go and learn in one to one sessions while asking questions relevant to my business.” Read more about Annabelle’s experience

Students across New Zealand and worldwide pay 12-months of rent when they only live in the properties for 9-months. That is equivalent to over $12,000 of wasted rent for a four-bedroom house in Auckland. EasyRent’s 9+3 month lease model connects students with empty rooms and interns in need of a home over the summer, ensuring that no student pays rent for an empty room ever again.
