Sewing station

The Maker Space has two Singer heavy duty sewing machines (4411) and one Singer overlocker sewing machine (14HD854) that you can use to make clothes, soft toys, bags, and cushions. These machines can also be used for repurposing and upscaling old clothes and textiles into new items.

Ready to get started?

To use our sewing machines for your own project, you’ll first need to gain access to the Create and Maker Space by signing up, and then (unless you’re already an expert on a sewing machine) you’ll need to book an equipment training session.

To help you create whatever you imagine, download our quick reference user guide and ‘inspire’ guide; and for hands-on guidance, you can attend one of our regular workshops. We also have trained creative technologists onsite to lend a hand.
